Simple and fast twitter account viewer.

TwitterSpot was designed as an easy way to access and view Twitter profiles. It manages to do this by automatically finding a Twitter user based on their ID and redirecting you to their page automatically.

Typically, in order to explore the profile of a Twitter user, you need to login to your account and find that user using the default search feature of the social network. The need to login is eliminated when you’ve got their direct address. You can generate the afferent URL yourself, by adding the user ID after twitter.com or you can use a third-party service such as TwitterSpot.

The latter is the most comfortable one, as the search and URL generation process are done automatically, without requiring effort from the user. This way, the time you’d invest performing the task manually is saved.

Accommodating the add-on inside Firefox is an easy task, since it all comes down to dragging and dropping it onto an open browser window, following which you must restart the browser in order for the changes to take effect.

The add-on implements a new section just below the address bar, where you can enter the ID of the user whose profile you wish to view, then to press the ‘Go’ button. At this point, you should be redirected to their page, provided that the ID has been entered correctly, otherwise, you will be taken to a non-existent address.
